About Andrea Martin, DNP, CRNP, WHNP, MSCP
Andrea Martin is a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner with bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees in nursing science. She specializes in the care of menopausal women, with expertise in hormone therapy, pelvic pain, painful sex, and sexual dysfunction.
Andrea earned her undergraduate degrees in Animal Science (2008) and Nursing Science (2009) from Rutgers University and William Paterson University, respectively. She completed her Master of Nursing Science at Rutgers University in 2015 and her Doctorate of Nursing Practice at Misericordia University in 2018, graduating with honors for all degrees. She is a Menopause Certified Practitioner (MSCP) and a Pelvic Floor Competent Provider.
An active member of several leading professional organizations—including the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health, Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health and The Menopause Society—Andrea is deeply committed to advancing the field of women’s health. She has been recognized for her professional contributions with the Excellence in Policy, Activism, and Advocacy DNP Award and as a National Doctor’s Day Honoree. She has presented numerous lectures to medical colleagues and contributed to medical literature.
Andrea is the founder of Glow Health, a telemedicine practice which prides itself in providing compassionate, up to date menopause and sexual health care to patients Outside of her professional work, she enjoys caring for her rescue pets, exploring the neighborhood, and creating cross-stitch designs featuring nerdy medical humor.
